Any tips for displaying in those Kallax boxes so that dust doesnt get in? Like what are the best glass, risers, led options for those little spaces at a good cost, only if you know haha

one big design flaw is the hinges sticking out.. You can't really put two of them side by side... As opening the door of the left side cabinet pushes the right one out of it's spot...

I prefer the new BLALIDEN by a large margin...but it really depends on what you want to display as size/space is the biggest factor.

The bad reviews I think are in large part because it has been dubbed the replacement for DETOLF instead of being reviewed as a stand alone.

PROS
- Glass is clearer/thinner and less likely to explode (DETOLF glass has a greenish tint)
- Framed design is a better presentation imo
- Easier to assemble
- Can hide lighting cables easier
- Weighs a lot less

CONS
- Considerably less shelf space
- A little wobbly
- Frame blocks displays from certain angles
- Door goes to the bottom so if on carpet door will get caught (Need a riser)
- Thinner shelves, 1lb less weight capacity

I got a Blaliden for displaying my 40K models and this video was super helpful in my quest for lighting it. And the dustproofing with felt is brilliant! Quick questions: do you think it would have been easier to install the lighting as you were assembling it or is after the fact just as easy? And is it possible to add more shelves than come with the unit? Thanks!
