Worked Example | Find Displacement from Velocity / Time Graph | NO CALCULUS!

Показать описание
Using a velocity versus time graph, find the displacement of an object over some period. This method graphically looks at the area under the curve and uses geometry rather than calculus.

Given the relationship between displacement and velocity, is that velocity is the change in position with respect to time. To put it mathematically V = d/t, but more importantly in the case of graphing velocity versus time, Vt = d. Looking at a graph through this lens allows us to determine displacement through a conceptual / graphical method.

Can you please explain how you got 1/2 and 2.5 from @4:40 ? Everything else was super clear but that part. Please and thanks you!

Thanks, But still using calculus if the graph is not linear
