If you get a lot of shrinkage, and you are worried about maintaining your length. After you refresh your mini twist, put your hair in about 5 to 6 braids (over night). Take them out the next day, and your hair will be stretched !

5 bc it helps when I'm busy but if I get free time, unraveling my hair is the 1st thing I think of. The hardest thing is trying to come up with new styles within my protective style and maintaining my hair while its in a protective style for a long time :)

I noticed you didn't use a sealant to seal in the moisture you put back into your hair. Is it necessary, or can you still do it if you want?

I haven't tried to refresh my mini twists because my twists are chunky and can unravel easily, but if I take the time to do them neatly I could easily get a 2 week break... Interesting
