The first thing that strikes you as you approach Kia’s all-new electric SUV is that this is one big vehicle. It’s longer than the Telluride, the automaker’s three-row gas-powered flagship SUV. Climb inside the EV9 and that sense of size only expands, the flat-floor architecture providing a massive cabin with three rows of seating and plenty of storage space.

The most remarkable aspect of the 2024 Kia EV9, however, is when you strap in, push the start button, put it in drive and hit the road. Despite being a very heavy vehicle — tipping the scales unladen at 2,550 kg (5,622 lbs.) — and utilizing Kia’s largest ever lithium-ion battery pack — a 99.8 kWh power source — the EV9 belies that heft with a surprisingly light and agile driving experience.

I have KIA SORENTO PHEV 2023 the same colour as in the video. I think the design of EV9 is similar to KIA SORENTO PHEV 2023.

If Kia wants to sell a lot of these in the US and Canada in $65K and and higher US they will have to overcome the perception of poor quality. As they are tied to Hyundai, their EV vehicles have had issues of abruptly losing power, leaving drivers either stranded or with limited driving ability. If Mercedes Benz or Audi put this out, they would be more likely to sell well. The EV9 is more like a truck and you will have to adjust your driving accordingly. At 10, 000 pounds, 22000 KG this is a beast. Great features and design. 3 rows of useable seating is a big draw in he US.
