Yes, it`s really cool and sneaky!😀👍I have the idea of ​​putting the force card in the 12th position and giving the spectator either 2 real or imaginary dice... since the highest number of dice adds up to 12, there's no need to worry or mention that there are fewer than 10 cards meant to be. Yo bro. So there was this one trick in which the magician made the spectator pick a card memorize it and put it back in the deck then he put down a card and asked if it was your card you said no then he made you put your hand on the card then he put down another card and asked if that was your card it was not so then he asked you if you were sure that first card you had your hand on wasnt yours and asked you to check again and when you did it magically changed into your card. Can you make a video on it pleasee. (Btw loved the vid)

Thank you! I was thinking that if performing at a special occasion, it would be fun to get a blank deck of cards and write the name of the person whose birthday it is on the 10th card with a sharpie (or the names of the couple if it's a wedding or anniversary). Choose the special guest to remove cards under the table. After counting to the force card, push it out of the deck, but don't reveal it right away. Then say, "Actually, you could have chosen any of these other cards, but they really mean nothing." [turning them over to show they are blank]. "But this card is very special, because this is a very special day!" (slowly turning it over to reveal the name or names written upon it). Just an idea...

I mean this in the nicest possible way - you have a very amused look on your face, all the way through, and I can see why. I will be grinning in the same way when I do this trick later. Nothing like an inevitable, but fiendishly simple to effect, punchline.

My only small alteration to this is, rather than having a piece of paper with the prediction out front, I've marked the jokers with a 'Q' and '♥'. As we always discard the jokers before most tricks, they're out there on the table without actually drawing attention that they are a 'prediction'. Once you draw the punter's attention to them (turn them face down to face up say) they can see that they were there all of the time.

I feel in magic you need to leave a little wiggle room. I believe if you do something 100% unbelievable, it’s easier to figure out the trick. That’s why I feel the color part gives away too much.

Great trick but not necessary to show you forced the only red or court card because its enough to find their card. When they realise all the cards are mysteriously one colour and you forced the opposite colour they will get much more suspicious about being set up when the odds of knowing the final card beforehand is amazing enough

Dear Matt,
i just practised it, and did it wrong, and i exprienced, if the setup is 10 black card, and on the top the queen of heart, and on the top the rest black cards. It works, if the audience take optional from 1 to 10 pieces of card too, and in this case the queen of heart will be in the position, like the choosen quantity of the cards from the pocket of the audience. We should NOT choose the next card. It is in the position, like audience choosen quantity. And in this case audience can take 10 cards too.

Am I correct when I say that the spectator can only take up to 9 cards from the top of the pack? Not 9 random cards, because then he could put the QH is his pocket right?

Thank you very much. I think this will work better if you mix the colors and not doing the last part. This brings immediately the suspicion that you forced the card and it was a setup.

I'd really love to learn more of these 'sneaky" self-working tricks. YouTube have hundreds of one dimensional tricks, but virtually none that have 2 parts to it.
