Why would young men want to fight and die for a goverment that hates them.

Young men don't want to die for a country that offers them no future and is full of people who constantly talk about hating them

Why would young men want to fight for a society that deems masculinity as toxic?

My father a retired Navy Senior Chief told my son to not join the military. I couldn't argue with him, it's too toxic unless you're one of the protected species.

The Rock: *gets paid 1 million dollars each time he posts about the Army on social media*

A combat veteran: gets denied coverage for disabilities he received from battle

Yep. This is America.

A country that no longer has no understanding of honor, integrity, honesty, deserve no army.

I got kicked out of the Navy cuz I refused the covid jab. A few months later, they sent me an email saying I was eligible to join back up. Lol what a joke of a military we have.

After serving 20 years in the Army. If I had to do it all over again, I definitely would not!! Stay away from the military!!!

Remember that huge battle won by an army of women, gays and trans soldiers? The one that turned the tide and helped us win the war?
Neither do I.

Spent 6 years in the Army. Airborne infantry. Seriously? I would not join todays Army. DEI has destroyed it.

As a former soldier I have dissuaded both of my young sons from enlisting. DEI and wokeness has destroyed the military. They're actually lowering standards for Ranger selection so women can go through. Pathetic!!

I'm a woman who served in the army in the mid 80s when it was "Be all you can be". It had both men and women the ads, but men were doing combat arms-tanks, field medical, HEM (heavy equipment maintenance) while women were shown as doing support--medical, computers, admin. It said basically that you had a future in the Army, no matter what that future was. It was also a good time to serve under Ronald Reagan.

Cartoons of single girls & lesbian mothers must be the most dismal and discouraging adverts ever aired.

2x Iraq veteran here, this is embarrassing. Serving your country used to be respected

Why defend a society that despises you?

The 80s ad encouraged people to "be all you can be, " while modern day ads encourage people to stay themselves as they're just perfect as-is, and it's the world that needs to change to accept you.

Young men that would be of service to our country do not idolize people like rock. A real man sees him as a fake, a scam, a bum.

They keep trying to appeal to the group that would never join the military.

Vets are actively telling prospective recruits NOT to join the military. And I speak from experience when I say its for good reason.

My husband is one who joined during 9/11, qualified for education benefits. Was told when he left the army national guard after completing 3 years of active duty service, he would still have said benefits. Did not sign re-enlistment contract and found out immediately that the benefits he had while enlisted no longer applied. He worked in recruiting. NONE of the recruiters around him knew this would happen (or lied, who knows). Trump reversed some clauses related to a five duty service “not applying” toward benefits, but of course my husbands job code didn’t apply.

Our soldiers don’t even get what they’re promised, much less if they’re injured and end up fighting for benefits. I know too many in 20s and 30s with life impacting injuries having to claw for benefits due to service related injuries.

Start by giving your soldiers what they are promised and maybe they’ll enlist. Nobody cares about a football team.
