I love Sicily, it is my heritage. My parents migrated to Australia in 1950's. I spent 2 1/2 months in Sicily as an 11 year old, back in 1980's. It was the happiest time of my life, the people are beautiful, caring, so genuine and giving. My relatives are from the coastal areas. Often I have gone through identity crisis in Australia, experienced at times nasty rascism. I am so very proud of my Sicilian heritage and so every person of Sicilian heritage around the world should also be very proud also.
