Developers should focus on functionality, cleanliness of the code and structure of the app/website rather than wasting their time of thinking which language is the best for the app.

Great video! Been learning Laravel on the side and expanding my skill set. NodeJS is great but all the options make Laravel a nice pick for a full framework. Just found out Laravel has a React preset and hoping I can stretch this framework for most of my needs. Any tips are always grateful.

What I am beginning to learn is once one learns programming foundations and MVC architecture; it should be easy to go from php backend, python, and to node(even ruby if that is your cup of tea). Maybe make some small adjustments with learning Rest API and deployment methods with each respective framework, but those are things that a seasoned or even an intermediate programmer can grasp quickly. I could be wrong but this is just based on my experience and journey.

PWA is the way to go here, I agree with Stefan on that. Using Nodejs for the backend makes more sense than PHP in this scenario, because you'll want write both the server, the PWA and eventually, the mobile apps in just one language.

Please could you tell us about Elixir programming language and its future? Where do you see it in the near future? I started already learning it after couple of years using RoR and it's awesome language really but I don't see too much jobs for it :( What do you think about that?

if i just learn to code does it means i am ready for the job as a programmer or developer ? what are the other things a programmer should know and do as a duty at his job? how all this works?

Node does not have any decent ecommerce solutions. PHP on the other hand, has many.

Great video cheers - I'm looking into eCommerce web development for someone, and they mentioned that they may want an application for it as well, at a later stage. Is it really my place to tell them that they probably don't need it, or should I simply stick to being a developer rather than an advisor LOL - also, instead of developing a mobile app, wouldn't progressive apps work perfectly fine?

I'm quite familiar and comfortable with JavaScript, I've never learned Php and i'd rather not learn it through developing something as big as an e-commerce website. Anyway, what I did want to ask was if you've heard about Moltin ("an eCommerce API for developers")? if you have, do you have any thoughts or opinions on it.

I am starting a website where I am creating a game that would be solved individually and then submitted. The time is very important since there might be millions of users who would be doing it simultaneously and the winner is the fastest to finish the task or game, would php or json be good for such an application? I would appreciate any comment

What about Flutter for the mobile app?

Very clarifying as always.

I'm a web and mobile developer.
For my web apps I use nodejs for the server and jquery\vanilla js for the web client, rendering pages from the server. And I create a separate API (also with Node) for the mobiles apps (Native) to consume. The API provides only the data that the mobile need.
Should I create one big API for my web apps to consume also, then i probably need to learn Angular, React or another front framework, or should i just leave things like they are? Which is actually working fine.
Thanks a lot Stefan. Tchau😂👍

can u tell me this pls. javsscript can be used to do all things a web app may need.
dynamic drawing, styling, database access etc. it has all features available.
then what is so different about PHP. whats this client side server side thing.
how does it matter ? JS can be mixed with html css to build an entire website so what exactly is special about PHP ?

I personally prefer using native apps, but only for large sites that I use very often.
