Easiest way to see the transfer is that they gave you their inner chaos, and you gave them your inner peace. So it's good, you are better than them at transmuting the chaos back into peace, you're doing them a service. Plus, anytime you are triggered or feel negative emotions, they are helping you see things about you and helping you transmute it, just tell yourself you are having a negative experience in a positive way. Repeat until there is no need to repeat it anymore.

Living in the 3rd dimension is associated with war, strife, separation, competition, imposition etc.
