My V60 is a generation newer and the software is amazing! It's alot like Samsung's one UI now and very smooth and quick. Also the screen incorporates alot of LG's TV technology onboard and is one of the most vibrant OLEDs ever. Even more than Samsung, it's colors are truly eye melting. The speakers are louder and bassier than any flagship I've ever heard. So loud that that I rarely use it above 60 percent and I'm usually on 200 percent on my other phones.

I purchased one during this BBD Sale.. Honestly speaking it's a bang for the buck!! Unfortunately Full HD streaming is not working in Prime video or NETFLIX.. Hope they solve it through quick updates! Anyone else facing the same issues or is it only me?

I think LG has integrated reliable and efficient features in all aspects of the LG G8X ThinQ. Although the dual-screen and its ability to support multiple functions is the highlight of this phone, the 6GB RAM as well as the efficient Snapdragon chipset are also additional advantages that will secure a steady user experience in the long run.

@C4ETech there is an app called LG widewiew on the play store to force all apps to use both screens in an expanded mode.
Also multitasking is amazing with the popup feature where we can have 4+ apps in a split screen /windowed /minimized form

I would like to point out that HD streaming is not supported in Amazon prime video app for LG G8x even though it has Widevine L1 certification. This seems to be a software issue and could be fixed with a software update from what i can see on XDA. But will we get that update or fix from LG - a company with an abysmal software update record?

👍 great review, most reviewers just go with the flow and reject LG right away. I have been using LG v30+ and g7 and they didn't throw any problems in last few years.
The updates are late and even more late when it comes to india, but they don't bear major issues unlike other brands.
Only con is almost no resale value.
