Sunak has got a plan first national service, then hes going to get the sea cadets to patrol the English Channel hunting for illegal immigrants.

Wouldnt it be better to have a policy of if your unemployed if you choose the government will pay you 12 months salary to under take basic training, thst might genuinely help people who have been unemployed for a while and its much more realistic as the infrastructure needed would be much more achievable

No jobs no money for benefits I know send them off to the army or work in the community free labour

Why don't we got in to the prisons and people who are in for miner offences and have a few years left on there sentence give them the opportunity to join the army and if U like it they get a career out of it and if they don't one they've served there sentence the can go home this way it emptys the prisons for more serious offenders and gives all miner offenders the chance to make something of there live then falling bk in to the things that got them locked up in first place

My son will be 18 next year, he is set to go to University and become a psychologist. He is not a young man to to be causing trouble on the streets and he is not some empty headed lazy kid who doesnt know what he wants to do with his life. To enforce this farcical idea on all 18 year olds is utterly ludicrous. If our country was imminently in danger of war or invasion I would understand the necessity, infact its the very same thing my 17 year old said himself. If the country was at war he would do it. But we are not!

Motivate the young with training and A better wage for joining the army and promise them somewhere to live when they leave or when they get out for leave and maybe they would join on their own accord.. They put their life on the line. They put their life at risk. They deserve a better wage and maybe they will be a better officer

It's actually not a bad compromise, 12 months military service or every weekend for 12 months in Civil.
