Great content man! Keep them coming. Love the live booking videos. Just got laid off from my job after 3 years. Already have a truck and a 22' trailer. It's not as big as I'd like, but it's all paid for. Thinking of trying the local/regional stuff. Just waiting for my LLC to get active and then get a carrier authority setup. Hoping I can get at least one load booked within the first couple weeks, since I know it's hard with a new authority. Any tips on trying to get that first load?

One question I do have for you is, my wife and I are looking into getting into hotshot (team driving) and later semi driving. We both are currently working with good jobs but we want to get into being our own boss. We’ve applied for our authority and in the protest period right now but long story short, I want to get into the industry and get going but she wants to wait because she’s unsure of the industry. I don’t doubt her but I wanted to know from you your experience since you’re a couple months in, what your experience is with it? Not knowing our whole backstory would you and your wife currently drop everything and start in the industry financially and rely on just it? Thanks for the advice.
