We Got Zara Above Ralph Lauren Before Gta6

To put ZARA over Ralph is pretty crazy. I mean ZARA does use very bad synthetic fabrics and sometimes even the stitching is bad.

Completely disagree with Gap. It's way better than Zara with quality and even h&m. Should be in the would buy section.

Fear of God quality to price ratio is also trash. It’s almost comical.

i like the format because it gives me a quick glimpse into brands i'm not familiar with. i would change the 'trash' category to 'not for me' because some people can't afford issey mitake or fear of god. trash is a little harsh if those are the only brands people can afford.

but overall great job tim!

I could say a million things about this, but really, I think ranking this many brands at once is almost impossible. Some brands are good in one area, abysmal in others. Some brands peddle what I'd call trash relative to the price (Essentials), but some people are fine with the quality because they're buying the aesthetic, so to each their own. Some brands I'd like to load into a cannon and shoot into the sun (Shein, Zara, etc.). Some brands are still basically fast fashion but can offer fair value for money (Uniqlo, Muji, COS, Arket). Some brands are an octopus with many legs/brands, and differences in quality among them (Polo vs Purple Label vs RRL). Some brands live squarely in department store purgatory, and aren't very good in quality but can be decently high-utility for the price when on sale (CK, DKNY). Some brands are only somewhat above mid, largely overpriced, masquerading as luxury, or "affordable luxury" (Reiss, Sandro, Allsaints). Some brands just sort of are what they are, and aren't extraordinary, but don't really try to fool anyone (Suitsupply, Massimo Dutti). Some brands are riding a wave of hype I don't think they deserve (Abercrombie). Some brands are putting out really solid, albeit pricey clothing (Lemaire, Studio Nicholson, Marni, Our Legacy, ALD, Nanushka). Some brands need to figure out what/who they are now (Off-White, Supreme, Kenzo). Some stuff is straight up designer in my eyes, meaning that if you're buying it, you know the markup is wild, but you don't care (Loewe, Jaquemus, Bottega, Kapital). Some brands I don't know what to think of anymore (Jil Sander). Some legends will never die (Rick, Issey).

All in all everyone has to weigh quality (not always easy to identify), price, design, etc. for themselves

Honestly just putting this compilation of all brands we should consider for fashion was really helpful. Great video Tim!

MASSIMO DUTTI and ZARA being in the same tier with Kapital, Marney and Cos should be a crime

GAP is really great quality and value for money, IF one knows what to pick. For me, up there with Uniqlo.

The Ralph Lauren and Abercrombie & Fitch tiers are genuinely egregious.

should have disclosed for the newcomers on here that in the same way massimo dutti is zara's "higher end" line, COS is h&m's "higher end" line. still priced within the premium high street tier.

Reiss and Ralph ranked mid is criminal, considering Ralph has purple label where the quality of the fabrics is much higher and Reiss is similar in some styles to Ralph but slightly cheaper and their fabric blend percentage is still really good, but you rank other brands lower in quality like Uniqlo and Zara (Zara does have some good quality items but not enough) which are ranked higher 🤨
This was more based/ biased on what style you like rather than price and quality.

Man I loved Zara

I remember when I was young I got their bootleg teddy jacket and EVERYBODY would compliment my “YSL bomber”. I felt so rich in it

Massimo Dutti pieces are very good quality. I’m a broke 10th grader so I can’t afford a lot of stuff even from there, but when I wanna treat myself with something nice, I go there. Got myself 2 QUALITY T-shirts, black and white. 30€ each but I say it’s absolutely worth it since I don’t have Uniqlo stores in my country. Also got a quarter zip sweater which I love

Ralph being that low is rage bait. You can’t fool me

I highly disagree with Abercrombie. Honestly, I’d put it at “Would buy” at most. Don’t get me wrong, I really like and own a lot of their stuff, like their jeans and shorts. But overall, their clothes tend to be way lower quality that what you’re paying for and their sizing is completely unreliable a lot of times, specially when it comes to shirts (most of the time they run super long).

Honestly, I like to see you judge clothes from GAP! I know it's not for everyone, but I prefer GAP over h&m!

Represent and Cole Buxton, straight in the toilet. Owners club… I mean come on, makes me think the type of person wearing it says “I know the owner”

Would have been quite helpful if you mentioned the fabric and build quality of the brands in this lists so we could sort of personalize it based on our style preference.

But, a really helpful video nonetheless 💪🏽

I wouldn't put Calvin Klein in the trash!
If you're into a tailored fit, Calving Klein knows how to cut the garment for a tailored fit. Even women's dresses are well fitted.
