One of the most underrated producing channels: Clear, precise, concise, technically sound advice - at a no frills approach! While it is EDM-oriented, it´s broadly applicable beyond genres. Thank you for your great work, Yalcin!

A good way to preview kicks in context of the track (or any samples like hats etc) is just put them all in a drum rack with a looped 4/4 pattern in the midi clip and use the up/down cursor keys to pitch up/down the notes s so you can audition the entire sample pack all to find one that

I did this today using your smooth kick pack. Man that saved me so much time. I must have spent about 4 hours trying to tune a rumble kick made from a bad kick and I just couldn't get it right, neither the kick or the rumble were responding to the tuner at all. Was absolutely doing my head in. Now it sounds better than ever! Thanks a lot dude. Love your videos!

Can I just say, I reeeeally appreciate you going straight into the tips. No long winded intro, no asking for likes right off the bat. My first video of yours and that right there earned a subscription. Cheers !

I would like to add one beginner mistake (it was for me at least).
Doing sound design in the middle of writing a track and then getting lost in it. Now i always try to make sounddesign a separate process. So that when i make a new track i have lots of my own stuff to use. But i tend to treat it the same way as presets and not get to precious about my own sounds.

The best mistake of that list is that I didn't find your channel earlier lol. Stuck on intermediate level for a while now, thanks to you, I'm stepping up my game. Tysm for the effort and for being selfless sharing all that knowledge with us.

Your content is just great! So much value in such a short video ! You really fill a gap for ppl who are already making music and know the basics. Thank you for showing such nice techniques🙏
I hope you can keep up with this and wish this will be rewarded, you deserve it 🙏

I wanted to put a thumbs up on this more than once. Def guilty of equing instruments in 'solo' and then wondering why they couldn't be heard in the final track.

Your channel is a goldmine! Even though my music isn't electronic at it's core, I find these tips super useful nonetheless! I love the fact that you tie every tip to the art and the storytelling of the song. They are not just technical tricks but expressive tools. Thank you! Great work!
