"Driver's Seat" is a 1978 song by the British band Sniff 'n' the Tears that appears on their debut album, Fickle Heart. The band is considered a one-hit wonder as "Driver's Seat" was their only hit, except in the Netherlands, where they had a second Top 40 single.

A great late 70's song, known as a one hit wonder, by Sniff 'n' The Tears who failed to come up with a second charting song except for the Netherlands where they had a song enter the Top 40.
"Drivers Seat" charted best in The Netherlands peaking at #8, while it's appearance at #13 in Australia was the second best effort and it really was a popular song here with plenty of radio play.
The band was named after lead vocalist Paul Roberts who always had hayfever. It went to #15 in the US and #17 in Canada, so it must have been very disappointing for them to effectively crack the US market and then not be able to keep going.

I have spent a fair bit of time on this video today. I have also boosted the colour....this can be a bit of a dangerous thing for a guy who is in the top 10 worse cases of colour blindness but I think it looks ok. I recorded it from Rage at about 9am this morning. Unfortunately these days very little good content is being played on Rage and this is the first video I have recorded from there for about 6 months. Unfortunately these days you have to wait until someone dies before the ABC coughs up anything popular from the 70's, 80's and 90's.

In regards to content, I have started a Ko-Fi page to try and raise funds for a subscription I need. I can't continue to put out high quality 4K videos without half decent source files to start with. In a nutshell, you cannot turn shit in to a monument. Although I create music videos for my own collection, I only create them in 1920 x1080 for myself. 4K videos are something that I only post on Youtube for your benefit. I don't make any money from any of the videos I post here.
