Well Orange looks like you were right on both evolutions which you know because now it is the future by like a year soo yeah. Honedge=1 Doublade=2 Aegislash=Sword and Sheild.

Amoonguss is actually one of the Bulkiest Grass types and has really good stats. Don't underestimate him. His design is awesome. And I use Amoonguss, that thing never let me down when I battle with him.

This pokemon is based on the mythical creature from Japan of an inanimate object being possed by a spirit and having one eye. They are known to usually take control umbrellas, so they are called the kasa-obake. Kasa meaning umbrella, so i'm guessing obake means something like spirit or haunted. Freaking glad we got a sword instead of an umbrella though.

I like Honedge, and if I did the type chart analysis correctly, Honedge is gonna have three immunities: poison, normal, and fighting; and if it has Levitate as one of its abilities, the ground will be the fourth. It will be weak to Fire and Ground otherwise, and have 8 resistances, with a double resistance to bug. Only dark, electric, ghost, and water will damage Honedge normally. Fairy is omitted because I don't know what fairy affects other than dragon.

I kinda like it too. I gives some pokemon a classification that they really needed.

I actually want a Ghost/Grass type. Like a pumpkin or scarecrow looking thing. That has prankster...sleep powder, nightmare/dream eater and shadow ball. Yes...I want that.

Also depending on honedge's ability and stats he could possibly be OU or Uber tier right away. With levitate he only has one weakness and if his Attack and Speed stats are any decent it could make him one of the best choice sweepers in the game. Also this hopefully means more physical ghost moves on the horizon.

Honedge's typing is crazy good . Only two weaknesses and tons of resistances and immunities. His typing isn't that offensive but still acceptable. Four types are weak to his STAB moves (ice, rock, ghost, psychic). If he gets some good stats, I'm thinking we'll be seeing him in competitive battles. Also, compared to most other object Pokemon, he looks very cool.

That was my initial reaction. I realized it was quite a good thing for the series after thinking about it.

Keep in mind that most pokemon are based on creatures from Japanese mythology, in this case honedge is possibly based on Kasa-obake, which was a yokai that possessed umbrellas or swords and had only one eye.
