They have correct information in the instructions now. Many users are pressing the TOP button on the hub... which resets the hub itself. You have to press the BOTTOM button on the hub (the on/off button) to put the hub into pairing mode. I did figure it out for myself, but took me around 30 minutes, duh! These do work well once they are installed. I just wish my condo or tenants would drop me a text whenever they are having pest control services... the guy sprays all the sensors and I get the worrisome notification of leaks everywhere in the unit giving me images of total flooding and devastation... which is why I put these sensors in place in the first place (an old toilet supply line cap cracked in one of my units that was unoccupied at the time and the unit was completely flooded... water shooting out for at least 4 hours before someone noticed water coming out the front door. Luckily... a 1st floor unit. Unluckily... very expensive water remediation. I use these now and also in AC closets under the systems and they have saved me thousands of dollars in repairs by letting me know there is an issue right away... even if the water is coming from an upper unit!) By the way... you can contact them through the app and they respond quickly. I had an issue where notifications were not being sent. I'm on East Coast USA. It was evening when sending text and they responded in an hour and fixed the problem with no explanation of what had happened. Pretty sure there is an 18-hour time difference as I'm guessing they are in China.

This video was very helpful. The instructions from govee were confusing. 2 days after we set the system up, we had a pipe leak in the basement. System worked perfectly.

I had trouble with my water and temperature sensors after a software update. The tech support team at Govee were great in trying to help. Their instructions, however, were over complicated by unnecessary steps. The Govee support team sent me a link directly to this video. It was right on target. Thanks!

Excellent video. The directions in the written documentation are actually correct, but they are still not clear, and using the app does it backwards, just as this video says. Very helpful.

Like everyone else here you saved my ass tonight. originally everything worked fine. but by the time that I had an issue I had lost the very small "manual" that came with them. And like you all I could find for instructions was how to add the gateway. Now I'm off to the garage to pair up my water sensors. thanks again. (and GOvee needs to put more WRITTEN support such as manuals on their internet page).

perfect, thank you so much. I thought that I was doing something wrong (and was). Didn't realize you have to add one at a time. I ended up testing each one and then writing thier corresponding number on the back as the code was useless.
