Wow! Thank for posting this. I did calculating and I would have needed 900 repeaters with4 ticks to get the delay I wanted. I'm glad I watched your you saved me a lot of time man.

This is perfect!
On a server I play they made it that if a repeater/redstone torch/comporator ticks 10K times, it gets automatically removed so because of that we can't have any automatic farms anymore.
But with this method you showed, you are bringing back automatic farm era to the server back :) Thank you!

I'm trying this out in 1.12.2 and the 5 and 8 second timers don't work anymore. They run through super fast. The 30 second timer still works though! Thanks for the video. :)

Can you ride the mine cart?  I need a way to ride to the outer edge of a mob farm to keep the mobs tracking me and then back to my AFK point for a few minutes. Then again, and over and over again.

Then it could only be activated every five minutes. You'd have to wait for the item to despawn.
