As someone who has bought from him, I can attest he packages his shipments well 😊 I’m sorry you have to get rid of many of your items but I understand needing to just keep your collection to what you really love.

I really feel this. Lately due to space I feel like I’m having a hard time fully enjoying and reviewing my collection as well. It may be time for me to purge as well. I wish you luck trying to restructure what you want to keep primarily!❤

I think it's really strong of you to do this. As a collector myself, and having bought dolls I kinda regret buying, I have yet to decide actually parting with a lot of them. I'll definitely check out which ones you're selling!

Good luck on restructuring your collection. I also have a room dedicated to a single doll line and it's manageable for me because they are open, which creates a space that can hold my entire collection. I have branched out and started collecting other dolls but have no where to put them because there is no time or money to fund for shelving and or display settings. Having no place to display is definitely a great motivator to slow down my collection. Thanks for sharing your experience, I think all collectors face something that makes them reevaluate their collections.

I feel this. I decided I'm going to eventually find Saks Elsa (if I ever do) and call it quits on any other new dolls.

I'm trying not to get in this position myself since I have a small space. One of the problems with collecting is you never know what else is coming. I have some things I would not have bought if I knew what else there would be a year or so later. Thank goodness I seldom have a strong urge to complete a whole series and can just "nibble" here and there. For example, three of the Disney Ultimate Princess Celebration, one Mermaze, two G3 Monster High, two Shadow High, fewer than ten each of Rainbow High and LOL, etc. Even that still adds up. Anyway, it might help to look at the situation as you got the experience of having the dolls for awhile (which does have entertainment value), and now they can go on to someone who will likely enjoy them more.
