So glad these guys are getting their due as Founders. The Founder film really left an impact on me and it's good to know that the Brothers are more well recognized for their ingenuity, I'm not taking away the fact that Kroc was a big factor in the massive success globally but he should have given the brothers their credit far more than they got in their lifetime.

The Big Mac is forever a tribute to Mac imo.

The McDonald's brothers had the innovation of how to make a single location work above all others at the time, but lacked vision of how to successfully to turn that innovation into an empire. One thing about them was quality of the food came first. Unfortunately with size, quality suffers (cutting corners) and they knew that. You can bet the original McDonald's food back in the 50's was a thousand times better than the crap McDonald's serves today.

The brothers started a BBQ stand, expanded to burgers. (With a very limited menu, )they developed the speedy system ..only had a handful of stores and sold it for the equivalent of 10 million each. I think they made off pretty well, for a couple of guys that started a hot dog stand.
