This is why me and my lovely wife have come back year after year, 16yrs so far, we was engaged in Elounda, I have celebrated 16 birthdays and the icing on the cake we was married on the very place in 2019

I know Elounda very well.
Visiting the famous Taverna "Who pays the ferryman".
There was a film, same name, which based on a true story.
This Taverna became famous, because it was one of the original places.

Kolokitha is good, but be aware, in the season, there are boats from Malia go there for bar b que and loud music!
