From Mashable's Christina Warren: Welcome to iOS 8. Last year, Apple totally redesigned iOS with iOS 7. Visually, iOS 8 doesn't differ much from its predecessor. Instead, the company focused on refining the iOS experience, adding features to aid in productivity and to open up its ecosystem for developers to really explore.

Apple calls iOS 8 it's biggest release ever. Of course, they say that every year. On the surface, this release isn't as big of a change as iOS 7 -- the look is basically the same. What's great about iOS 8, however, is how many more things Apple now allows the user to do.

My favorite feature is the quick reply with texting. Dear god that will be so useful. So instead of leaving your app when you get a text you could just reply and carry on.

Reason iv not updated to iOS 8 yet is because of the amount of big faults reported. I'm waiting till I know it's been fixed

I for sure won't be upgrading...
Upgrades are design to work ur phone towards planned obsolence untill one day u will try and charge ur phone only to be met with the dreaded "this device is not supported for charging" notification. And there will be nothing u can do to fix this unless u buy a brand new iPhone

I don't know, but it seems to me that Apple is progressing much faster than it did ever since Steve Jobs left the company. I wonder what Steve would be thinking if he ever got the chance to see the way his company turned out. Personally, I really like the new devices and iOS. I've wanted an aluminum iPod for the longest time and Tim made it happen.

Ok i have an important question, can i back up my phone with iCloud, then WIPE my phone deleting everything ( to give me space for the update) and then once i download the update, back up my phone with iCloud again to get my stuff back??! Will "erasing all content and settings" even erase my iCloud backup?? Someone please help!

@Delucs100 Business users need to attach more than just pictures in email. Ios still cannot do that.

That is why I use top of the range Windows Phone, Lumia 1520 for business
