Great videos! Really helping me get up to speed on Jepp plates after using NOS for 1200 hours. I'd also like to recommend making the background fixed because the airplane moving around was distracting.

Well done. I prefer to read the missed approach LAST because that is the way the flight will flow. I teach all approaches that your destination is the missed approach point and if you see the runway environment on the way...minimums and landing.

You mentioned the runways lights are HIRL, where do you see that? I'm not seeing that on the the plate so how did you identify that while briefing? Thanks

Another great job. Personally, I like the background, it puts me in the environment where there are distractions. Plus it adds interest. Just reading through the plate alone is like being in a classroom and boring.

Is the date the day it was published to the day that it expires. You started with the title of the plate. I've always started with the date to confirm the chart is legal to use, otherwise nothing else on the chart matters. I've been in aviation for 7 years now, and I'm starting to transition to the airlines. If Jepp charts are the way to go, I wonder why they're not emphasized, or at least introduced, to a pilot early on?

I'm trying to teach myself the difference between Jepp and NACO and just happened to run across your video first. I was wondering where the circling min's were on the Jepps of 1240-1 and why didn't you use the 1800 RVR or were you not using an AP or FD or HUD. I probable had to much time on my hands watching this.

I like these videos. I do wish you used the Jepp plates that are NOT airline specific so use GA fliers in Cat A or B see that detail. Great video though. :-)

Ps. Calling out the Final Approach Course & looking at the RW - can sometimes point out the course is offset to the runway. (Guess who found that out at minimums into Midway) LOL
