Kevin Nealon hikes with 2 time Oscar winner, Tom Hanks, in a magical canyon trail in the Santa Monica mountains. Tom chats about exactly when he met Kevin and what kind of a friends they are today, his 10 times hosting SNL, his new film ‘Here,’ British accents, living up to Hollywood’s Mr. Nice Guy title, his first concert, getting recognized, his hobby of collecting vintage typewriters, his aversion to playing villains in films, his fear of spiders and dislike of horror films, plus more.

The fact that Kevin is 70 and killing it on Youtube is an inspiration. Same with Tom, at 68. It's amazing.

My favorite Hanks line he doesn't even talk, he just stands there and maniacally and hysterically loses it when the bathtub falls through the floor on The Money Pit.

Great video BTW, the two of you just hiking and shooting the breeze.

Love your interviews they’re entertaining without being invasive. The interviewee can share what he wants without anxiety.

Thanks Kevin and Tom! Hearing you guys talk was such a delight. It took my mind off of the upcoming election. Kevin you saved my sanity during the Pandemic, as I was locked down and isolated in my home for almost 2 years. I watched and rewatched your fun and enlightening interviews with your friends. I learned about some of the comics, you know, that I had never heard of before. I'm an older guy, ....I am 70 presently, and I don't keep up to date on all the movies, and celebrities, that entertain us. I'm a fan of Conan's humor, and loved all the "walks" you took with him. Marc Maron was somebody I didn't know much about, and through your interview with him, I discovered his interview podcasts, that were incredibly interesting. Keep 'em coming.

Considering how often serial killers are described as a nice guy, quiet, etc., Tom Hanks would probably be terrifying playing one.

I learned more about Tom Hanks in this interview than all the interviews I have ever seen him in.

I opened for you a gazillion years ago in Nashville... you did the greatest ending to a show ever where you kept coming back up when I said "Kevin Nealone everybody!!" I enjoyed your show, you were super nice back stage and your wife was a delight. I enjoy this show a lot. I'm too fat to hike so I count this as exercise....thank you. Kevin Nealon

One of your best yet, Kevin! I knew Tom's aunt Hilda for years (led her memorial service, too), and she always carried buttons of whatever movie he was in at the time (as well as snapshots of the two of them in her purse). She was so proud of him.
