This has been a wild 1st round all around. I'm not a fan of either team here, but wow. Perfect game by NJ this goaltender is feeling it. Then the pressure of Palat on that first goal. Damn. Just impressive. The canes have their hands full.

Heck of a game...heck of a round 1 series. Some Rangers fans counted NJ out early but they were in for a surprise. Heads up New York...you guys played your hearts out, except that last game. Congratulations NJ...let's get the next one.

The better TEAM won this series, Rangers may have had a couple of the bigger names, including goalie but the Devils tightened up and straight out worked the Rangers. Great Series. Bring on the Canes. Another team the Devils have quite the playoff history.
