LIVE: Iran & Hezbollah Divided Over Response Against Israel? | Vantage with Palki Sharma

West Asia has been gripped by fears of a wider war as Iran mulls its response to Israel. This comes after Hamas Chief Ismail Haniyeh was killed in a strike in Iran's capital Tehran a few days back. Iran has blamed Israel for the attack; however, Israel has not claimed responsibility for the strike. Iran has vowed to retaliate against Israel. The global community has different reactions to Iran's imminent retaliatory attack on Israel. Recently, the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) released a joint statement condemning Israel for Hamas Chief Haniyeh's killing in Tehran. While Russia is arming Tehran with weapons, the Western nations want Iran to exercise restraint.

One of the Israel's closest allies, the US is moving more and more assets to West Asia as the threat of a wider war looms over the region. While Iran is still planning its response against Israel, Iranian proxy groups like Hezbollah in Lebanon and the Houthis in Yemen are seemingly running out of patience. Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah recently said that the group may attack Israel alone. On Vantage tonight, Palki Sharma tells you more.

I would not go to a free Swift concert in my home town. Much better to listen to her on the internet or on TV rather than find parking, fight the crowds, pay a fortune to sit up in the high altitude seats, and have to use binoculars to see the stage. Only one worth that much effort was Tina Turner. The joke of the day inspires me to share that the joker’s WEIREDNESS is the underlying peculiarity that has woven the fabric of America’s DIFFERENTNESS! Their sense of humor, differently naming common things such as chips = fries, crisps = chips, driving on the right side of the road, etc. etc.!
