Great !! As usual! I've been working with automotive parts for many years. Also, the wiper motors are awesome. I prefer those from vans and small trucks. Quite often they have metal gears inside and they're more robust. The window lifters usually have plastic gears and are less suited for (long) continuous operation and heavy duty. Another interesting automotive part is the residual heat circulation pump. Very durable, high throughput, and it resists coolant chemicals. Finally... those wonderful automotive relays which can easily switch up to 30 Amps.

What are the characteristics of a DC motor and how to find them? Like induction motors they have every thing written on their nameplate things like rated voltage, rated current, rpm and torque at the rated voltage with no load on
