Training twice a day and living off a small amount of money is exactly the message I tell the three different mothers of my 7 children. Sure, I'm 43 and have no legit fight record, but I know in my heart that the ufc will be calling shortly! Great video

I am 17 and have been training in boxing for about 6 months. I am having my first fight next month and I am training MMA and wrestling at the same time. My dream is to become a UFC fighter. I will come back to this comment when I become a UFC fighter wish me luck.

I recommend getting a job at a golf course.. I work from 6am-2pm 4 days per week and train the rest of the day. They also provide health insurance since I work 30+ hours per week making $20 per hour.. I am 25 and was an all ohio wrestler and am now training full time. Sometimes I think I’m getting in the game too late but at least I’m giving it a shot. Love the videos.

I’m not training to be a pro, but being a golf caddie has been the holy grail of jobs for me when it comes to supplementing my training in boxing/MMA. You can make some very decent money depending on where you work with flexible and short hours. Plus you get 15-20k steps in just from work along with a great shoulder workout carrying bags. Can cut weight extremely easily if needed as well.

Had to quit the mma dream unfortunately I just need more money then training currently but I decided to stick to jiu jitsu only at 10th planet and I’m happy I do miss sparing and stuff but I just can’t afford it currently … to all of those who are in the trenches and trying to make it good luck y’all some warriors and I truly hope you guys make it and have an amazing journey 🙏🏽

Nice advices man. I'm from Brasil and it's a little tougher here since I got my mom and dad to look out for, and still try to pursue that dream of fighting in the big leagues. Gotta provide now for my family, but still trying to make it big so I can provide better, more and while doing what I love.

Even in the UFC people have to work extra jobs if the are on the low pay scale. Hopefully there will be a day when UFC fighters regardless of who they are can make enough to focus solely on MMA.

21 years old with no prior exp, no stable income source, and possibly no career in UFC but I'd still choose this life. It's the coolest thing I've ever seen!
Really Inspiring and informative. Liked and Subbed!!

Thoughts on nutrition vs saving money? I always have a hard time when it comes to making a decision between eating right, (which for my high metabolism means eating aLOT) and saving money by eating as cheap as possible (ramen noodles etc.). I feel like this is important especially as we are in the early stages of our journey in MMA...

Uber and Lyft are the best jobs to do while fighting and training. You work whenever you want, and sit in the car and rest from training.

Bro it must be such a wild thing to tell everyone: I fought in the UFC and Bellator

Even if I have only one fight in the UFC I'd be so fking proud of myself

And hey, you fought against some serious dudes too, Oliveira and Cerrone? Holy cow

Not a mma fighter but I’m a boxer. I got a job where I can work from home with weekends off no required ot. Gives me plenty of freedom to train and still have a life outside. Obviously the goal is to become a full time fighter but this is it for now. If you’re smart enough and create a good and realistic routine you can stick to, I would recommend getting a job working from home but it can be tough to find one.
