Taught my teens your methods and still working on my changeover. They were so excited to think about launching rather than the ball and their distance completely changed big time. Thank you so much.

Your guidance on width and target were just what I needed to hear to improve my game was able to put those things into action and stop focusing on the technicalities of swing positions. took it to the course today and was able to dial in all approach shots by just thinking of delivering the swing to target!!!

Was practicing width and lag today. Shorter swing really helped my consistency. Love the coverage of the Mexican open too Shaun!

Hey Shawn. I watched “how to load the arms”. It makes scene. I was crushing my drives but hitting my irons fat. Any advice on a good video to stop those fat iron shot?

I will email you my swing and yinz can put it on youtube and share with viewers on what you like and dislike about it. I gotta warn you its powerful, repeatable and very accurate. Yep you shaped and built it but it is mine. ;) ;) That feeling of compression thru impact everytime never gets old. Lead arm drill is hmmm? Friggen " GOLD "

I wind up my body now and feel like Shawn C and Savage. That’s my feel anyways….hehe
After adding a Hogan weak grip, I’m golden. It’s no draw golf, unless a fall fwd into R foot.

Dear Shawn,
I understood your concept of the bamboo cut linked to the idea of compressing the ball towards the target. but when I am in front of the ball if I apply this technique, which I have no doubt about its effectiveness, either I miss the ball or I fix a clod, why and what should I do to solve this personal problem?
Best Regards
Christian

Hi Shawn, with the lead hand release/elbow kicks down, is that something that should happen automatically or not ? It just doesn’t seem to happen for me naturally in my swing .

Brilliant lesson coach. This is where you are at your very best and at the top of your game. I really appreciate these segments in which you deconstruct the golf swing. Keep these coming! 🙌🙏👍💯💪👏

Are you intentionally teaching people to slice?
Jon Rahm hits the ball so far because he's a well practiced athlete at the peak of his athletic life and he's got legs like tree trunks. In 25 years he won't be able to do what he does now and to think that "anyone" can do what Rahm does is a pipe dream. That's like saying anyone can hit a home run off a MLB pitcher or anyone can drive a Nascar. These people are the best in the world, they are on a completely different level that most of us can not even comprehend, they are not common people. I've played with professionals like this that were so good it boggled my mind. At the time I was scratch but I had to stand back and just appreciate the amazing talent that I was witnessing - Driver, 7 iron into par 5s, 330 yard drives performed casually ... it's truly amazing. That's when you realize there's "good" and then there's "really, really good."

When I get width properly and swing with low strain it’s an absolute wonder how far the ball goes.

I have question about your swing. In your real swing club shallows in the dowswing but it also looks shallow in followtrough. We can see the club under left shoulder. When you do the practice slowmotion drill you show much more upright position in followtrough for your club. We can see it over your left shoulder. Why they look different and is it better to try get more upright followtrough?

I've been trying to get width on my backswing and was hitting the ball well today until the 15th hole I played. I tweaked my left oblique on that swing trying to get more out of the swing. Is this something that I can avoid in future rounds? How often do pros tweak their oblique muscles, if ever, on swings?
