I still, to this day, don’t understand how he doesn’t have an Oscar. His portrayal of Gollum and Caesar were *INCREDIBLE.*

He has been THE pioneer for motion capture acting, IMO he's among the most revolutionary and important actors of all time. Shame on the academy for never embracing technology.

Thank you Mr. Serkis

I always wonder what Tolkien would have thought of his performance of Gollum. I Imagine he would have been blown away that someone could actually bring this character to life in such a vibrant way.

Andy Serkis is at Jim Carey levels of physical acting and Tom Hanks levels of character acting. He's captivating whether you're seeing his face or a capture of his face.

Besides just being a good actor in his own right, the guy is a pioneer in terms of what he's contributed to the advancement and understanding of motion capture being more than just visual effects but also actually being a full acting, nuanced performance in itself. Revolutionary, man.

Saw him at a convention and he's so down to earth. And he's so knowledgeable in what he does about mocap as a form of acting.

You rarely see his face, but if you notice, studios are quite proud to make sure you know Serkis is in their movie. It's almost like they point& say "See? We got Andy Serkis! And I admit, I've gone to a few movies just because he's in them.

Caesar's story arc between the three Apes' moves is probably one of my favorites of all time. Serkis truly is the original pioneer of mo-cap

I don’t know what it is about Andy Serkis but i never really believe actors are as genuine or cool as they appear on camera or in interviews but with Andy there’s something about him that seems like he’d be a great guy to hang out or have a beer with.

I love Andy Serkis so much I sat through 6 ads to finish this video.

I love how mild mannered and friendly he is in interviews compared to say his absolutely sociopathic role as Klaue.

I completely agree with everyone's comments. He's a true actor; willing to do whatever it takes to play his part right and it shows, extremely humble, and after this vid, great storyteller!

I loved Jordan but this guy as claw was the largest burst of excitement in black panther. He's easily my favorite mcu villain. Tremendous actor that elevates every scene that he's in.
