W211 Android radio install tips

Sir please help
I have wired just as you have 08 e550 with Harmon Lardon system. But when I try to wire canbus car goes crazy and al the assist(esp abs) turn on and car malfunctions but when I unwire it go back to normal what did I do wrong

Okay. Every Mercedes owner has the same problem. Mercedes uses optic transmission to the speaker system including CD changer. That is for me a no go to wire everything with copper wires. And the CD changer will not work - I actually never used it. I never found a aftermarket radio with an adapter for this.

Do the wheel controls work? And how about all the speakers including the subwoofer on the dash?

Hi, I’m looking at that system for my car. Dose the Harmon kardon system still work after swapping the head unit? Or dose it need a new sound system for its to be comparable?
