I use silver, white and green for my Christmas decorations and then into January and February I call the decor “winter”! They cheer me up when it is cold, grey and snowy outside, especially the white lights on the tree! Let’s do what makes us happy 😊 ❤

There's always a certain sadness when it's time to take the holiday decorations down. But there's also a looking forward to the decorations for the next one. Nice to see Marie back. The food looked good. You really live the ideal life. Although, it's sad when people leave, but happy when they return.

What I love the most anout Lalande, is that ability, everyone has, to make even a small thing into an event. And that nothing is to good to be used and enjoyed! Like that port! A lovely vintage, and a great gift! Some might save that for a special occasion - and perhaps forget about it... But not at Lalande! Nope, lets enjoy all the good things now! It reminds me of a story about two, poor old widows, who lived next door to each other. In many ways, they where similar. And for Christmas one year, they where both so lucky, that they each where gifted a smoked leg of ham! Food enough for months! One of the ladies was always very frugal, and so she saved the very best of the ham, so every day, she would cut herself the worst piece, she could find. The other lady was exactly opposite. She would always cut the very best piece, she could find, on that delicious ham, and enjoyed it to the very last bite!
So, the question is - which lady made the most of her ham? 😊
