These are excellent TTs. I've been enjoying mine for about a year now. Check out pics with an acrylic platter - the slipmat makes this one look bad. I've had decent vintage TTs and and Rega RP1, but this is my favorite so far. Can't beat it for the price.

Have the orbit special and it sounds great! I have the Special with the Walnut, with Ortofon red 2. Love it simple and easy and sounds great.

Might be better than a crosley, but that tone arm though.

what features make a high quality sounding turntable, needle etc. what vintage brands or models too should I look at for top quality, I see some second hand sometimes. can you still buy needles for those.

Looks can be deceiving. All depends on how it sounds.

But can I replace the crappy cheap ceramic stylus with something of a more high quality?

Did anyone else see the ridiculously warped platter?

This hurts as an audiophile. Really 200 dollars? You can buy a vintage standard kenwood for 100$ that has auto return for crying out loud and that comes with a real tone arm, cartridge and stylus.

Wait, you guys haven't figured out that vinyl is not a superior medium for recording and reproducing audio? These "audiophiles" I tell ya...

Looks like a cheap unreliable build it yourself kit. I'm laughing so hard watching this.
