I've followed Rocket League Esports for years and I've witnessed a ton of moments where pros pulled off things far beyond what we thought was originally possible. Today, I share 5 of my favorite moments where Rocket League pros destroyed the skill ceiling. To best convey the feeling of astonishment RLCS fans experienced as they witnessed these moments in real time, I decided to show and tell them through a cinematic lens to fully immerse you into the intensity leading up to each moment. Rocket League Esports will forever been known as one of the most unique and incredible Esports of all time.

The fact that Squishy is here twice shows how good of a player he is

Wayton please do an in depth video on Fairy Peak's 1v1 streak. It's, to this day, the greatest and most dominant showing in all of esports history. 53-0 for over a year against every possible worthy challenger

I'm wondering about the Wayton Pilkin content skill ceiling. How much better can his videos even get? only the future knows...

5:50 is phenomenal. My favorite RL clip of all time.

Not gonna lie, when the physical game is used against me, I get frustrated. But then I remind myself they're just using a built in mechanic and this is, in fact, Rocket League. Then I embrace it. It's like they're just reminding me I can do it too.

Rinse, repeat.

Still to this day, I'm ssl and can hit the shot consistently, yet something about squishy's ceiling shot gets me so hyped. I saw it live and thought it was the best goal ever scored, and even though more mechanics have come to light and even doper shots have been scored in the rl comp scene, that ceiling shot remains the best pro play shot in my opinion. It was astonishing for its time and helped push rl into a new direction from were it was going at that time.

Man, I remember spending hundreds of hours just practicing RL moves. I stopped playing a few years back but this video made me remember why I loved it so much back then. Awesome upload dude!

Your videos just keep getting better. I can see a clear difference between the ones you posted a few years ago when I started playing RL, and now. Keep up the amazing work WP, you're my favorite yt-rl creator

The way I see it: every player has a unique personality to themselves. As they become more comfortable with rocket league and eventually become fluent (like the pros) they eventually put their own spin on their game; similar to one’s own handwriting. Everyone has their own play style and at a professional level they become different types of super powers stemming from how creative someone is when playing at their best. Every player in this video is an example of someone who has mastered their personality in rocket league for a split second in time. Cool video!

Honestly I don’t mind waiting a week or two for a video, because it’s always made to perfection👏🏻😊 keep it up

10:40 This is so true, I got a goal with a bump and the guy said "Toxic". I then won the game through a demo goal and he followed up with "f*cking toxic player" 😂

Thank you for highlighting the physical game. For someone that just enjoys the casual side of RL and struggling to master complex aerials, there is still enjoyment in just causing mayhem on the pitch

The quality of Wayton's videos is only going up.
Aside from the clean video editing and concise storytelling, the audio really really caught my attention as well; the music choice for moment introductions (and the way it cuts off into him talking), syncing music with video (like syncing beat-drops with goals, for example 08:26), the smooth usage of SFX (like slowmo sfx for emphasis 04:57), and a LOT of other details that might seem minor on their own, but definitely add up and make everything come together very nicely.
I think it deserves more spotlight. I'm feeling inspired. 10/10 video.
