In fact, any country that has established official diplomatic relations with the People's Republic of China acknowledges the principle of "One China."

Taiwan is a very good place, tbh. The only issue one will face is the Language. Maybe, people in Taipei might be knowing a little english, but if you move towards the south, like the Hsinchu or Taoyuan area, most people don’t speak chinese. But frankly, they are very kind! I had this one experience. I landed at taipei taoyuan airport, took a taxi to the taoyuan train station. There I wanted to buy a ticket and board a train to Hsinchu. I asked a group of 2-3 middle aged people, unfortunately no one knew english, but they genuinely wanted to help. They were using sign languages and at last they said service, pointing to the customer helpline stall. I said thanks and went there, but suddenly a guy from that group ran towards the customer helpline stall to reach there before me. He then spoke in chinese with them, asking them to help me out. That’s how kind they are! And if you ask for directions to some place, if it is within like 1km or so, they will come along with you and guide you to that place. People in Taiwan are very patient too. Imagine you are standing in a line, even if you cut it, they won’t try to argue or even tell you that you cut the line, they would just patiently wait for their turn😀.
