I just realised, that the people of Rhodes always believed the Colossus was a protector, even back then irl, so when it came to life, they would actually think its the actual Colossus going sentient and protecting rhodes from Kratos like it was told. They didnt even know Zeus animated it 😂😂
Since it was a statue of the sun god helios, they would think to believe helios gave it life to protect rhodes after they erected a statue befitting of his honor

In other video games, you will fight the boss after you beat his/her armies. In god of war, you fight the boss at the first place at the beginning of the game XD
