ERS “In Remembrance” concert

Hello friends,

We hope you are all well. Here at the ERS, we have truly missed putting on recitals for you, and we miss the connections we make with you all, through our music. Our season is currently on hold until 2021, in light of the difficult and uncertain times we are all facing.

Today would have been the day we presented our annual “In Remembrance” concert, a much beloved event in our organization. As with all of our fall and winter concerts, cancelling this event was difficult for us, but necessary.

Our desire to share wonderful music with you remains, and so today we are sharing a virtual performance of Khatchaturian’s Trio for Clarinet, Violin, and Piano. Recorded by three musicians very well known to our audiences (our own Artistic Director, Sarah Ho, piano, and two of Edmonton Symphony Orchestra’s finest, Julianne Scott, clarinet, and Laura Veeze, violin), we hope you enjoy this beautiful performance and look forward to presenting live concerts to you one day soon.
