Excellent advice as always, Lee. People here in Canada water their lawns incessantly during droughts wasting thousands of litres, often to no avail. I live in a condo development with an in-ground irrigation system, and I nearly go mad every summer watching precious water evaporate in front of my eyes before it even touches the soil, and the grounds look only slightly better than lawns that are allowed to turn brown and then return to life on their own! Great advice as ever. We never water our lawn, even during the driest summers it always bounces back. I am going to start using my watering cans instead of the hosepipe. Can you use your dish water to water the garden or would this damage the plants, I am never too sure? Mum 😍

Sadly my water bowser and water butt has run out rain water, so have to use tap water to fill it up 😭
