I have the S9+ since released and never had a problem, still speedy since day one and the battery life have gotten a bit better after a few updates.

I have the S9+, and I don't think there's a whole lot I'm missing from not having the Note 9. The screen is comfortably big, the displays are roughly the same, and I'm not bothered by not having all the extra junk that comes with the Note 9. I have a bit of a love/ hate deal going on with the edge screen, as sometimes outside the case it's easy to accidentally touch it, which will void any other button presses or screen swipes you make, but it's much less problematic when it's in the case.

Everyone is talking about how the Note 9 is only an iterative update. But I have to disagree! 512GB storage with 8GB of RAM, with a 4000mAh battery AND a Bluetooth stylus... pretty freaking amazing really

What most people don't mention (including you), is the improved cooling mechanism of the Note 9.
The smartphone industry should follow the note's footsteps on that.
Better cooling is not only to avoid overheating, but also reduces cpu throttling, resulting in better cpu speeds.
This means, even though the note 9 and s9+ have the same processor and ram, you may notice a difference in speed after some hours of gaming, especially in hot countries.

The note 9 is obviously better, but a lot of people don't need everything the note 9 has, which is why the s9 plus is so great. Love my s9 plus

I got the note 9 I love the design but I mainly wanted this phone for the screen size I thought my s7 edge is to small and I wanted 1 device that does everything not a phone and a tablet no point just one big phone note 9 perfect for my needs

Is it just me or the S9+ screen looks brighter and more vivid based on this video? 0:45-0:48, 2:13-2:17, 2:20-29, 2:52-259, and 3:56-4:08. Or did he just reduce the brightness of the Note 9? Or the Note 9 colour was a tamed version of the bit more saturated colour of the S9+?

Can't wait to upgrade my Note8 to the Note9. Stereo speakers, huge battery, more storage, thinner chin, bt s pen and finally low light live focus!!! Also happy to see the blue finally released in the UK unlike last year.

Also, the Note 9 has DeX built-in. You don't have to buy a near $70-$80 dock like with the S9. Just buy a simple cable.

Ye note 9 is better... still happy with my s9+ that i copped for 600bucks (brand new)
