710 people murdered last year, this seems to be the only number people focus on. How bout the other 4, 368 other victims who survived their shootings yet are paralyzed, amputated body parts, confimed to wheel chairs, left half dumb? Thats the real number. 4, 368 victims. Remember chicago has 4 trauma centers, some of the best in the world, and is currently building a 5th. Take away these trauma centers, and some advanecement im medical technology and practice and we can easily see that 710 climb to upper 1, 000's maybe even lower 2, 000's....sad.

I see people judge all the time by how clean or sweet a hood looks until you actually trapped in those perimeters of a specific hood and live in it. You can say all you want. It’s the people in the hood that makes it a struggle to survive. I met people that move to Phoenix here in Arizona who say these streets have nothing on this or that place they have in mind. But I always tell them live there what no option to leave in specific areas I speak about and you’ll see tapped off streets from killings and a lot hood justice going around cuz cops dont get used to straighten shit out in some hoods

Keeping gang violence in pockets is the key to eliminating it in other neighborhoods. Do not demolish the projects!!

Why do these people take pride in having the most dangerous neighborhoods.

What has to happen in these places is remediation. Teams need to go in and give these guys options, training, resources, supplies, and counseling. They feel hopeless and afraid, so this is how they deal with it.

How is openly stating that your in a gang and even allowing for an interview to be posted on You Tube such as this one not qualify you for arrest under an organized crime law if one is still on the books?
