Rogue One Ending with C3PO and R2D2

A lot of people, including me, couldn't help but feel like Threepio and Artoo's cameo in Rogue One was a bit out of place. What if they briefly appeared on the Tantive IV, right before the reveal of Leia? This would place them exactly where they need to be, just in time for the opening of Episode IV. Just saying... ;) Enjoy!

Nice! It does seem better. Maybe you could make a longer version including Jyn and Cassian's deaths and Vader's massacre to see if the levity of the cameo doesn't undercut the heroic sacrifices of the preceding scenes too much? Perhaps with a different voice clip of C-3PO being more worried?

How many of us recall the silver C3PO scene in both a background and brief cameo but he never got to have a doll made of him like the red r2 unit that blew up and got to be made as a doll to be R5D4.

I wish r2 and 3po roles in rogue one would have been larger like they stole away in one of those x-wing fighters and then r2 he shocked Vader while he was slaughtering these troopers giving the crew a time to escape.

It's not accurate. The Rogue One's scene is before ANH's scene. In Rogue One we saw the ship go away, and just after some time Vader reached them.
