Rest in peace Jim. I was glad to have met you and to have you play my banjo that one time. Thanks.

I really like the bends he does. It adds a certain humble, friendly characteristic that I enjoy a lot.

Jim Mills !! simply extraordinary, truly one of the banjo virtuoso musicians today.
From Buenos Aires, Argentina, where I live, spend time watching videos of banjo players, and I admire Mr. Jim Mills, the technical capability and ease and joy spread by touching. I think he really enjoys playing the banjo. I play the banjo here (where too the fingers of one hand to count), and I love their performances and style. You Receive a cordial greeting, this Gaucho Banjo Player, (of 70 springs), José Luis.
And God Bless.

You are amazing Jim. Reminds me of when my dad use to play. A very heart felt style. He doesn't play much anymore, but my 13 year old daughter is picking up the banjo now, and she has the right timing in her hands, naturally. If you type in and search, 13 year old Sheego playing banjo, it should come up. Thanks Jim for the great music. Les

Jim looks as though he is amazing himself by how beautiful he can play that banjo. You take Earl Scruggs, Don Reno, and Bobby Osborne, and mix their styles all up and you have a new leader in banjo playing today. Jim's banjo playing is just superb, and his heart of gold and friendly smile says it all..

Class act indeed. I love how has has all these killer chops, can play Bobby Thompson licks all day, etc but chooses not to. Instead, he just keeps it real simple and tasteful.

@texasblueflat His Huber signature model is modeled off of the "Macl Crowe" RB75, which has a "leaves and bows" inlay pattern. It is also gold plated and engraved. With that all said, I can say with confidence that this is not his Huber signature banjo.

I like how he just smiles and looks at his rhythm as he improvises half of the song. At 1:49 I suppose Jim's pickin made shuffler miss the F lolol
