How to make a paracord zipper pull. This easy to make paracord project is ideal for not only giving you quicker access to your pack, apparel, and other gear, but adds a bit of customization as well. This method can also be used for making a single-strand keychain fob. The tying technique used here is the basic Cobra Weave. All that is needed for this simple DIY project is 2 1/2' of 550 paracord and a few minutes of your time. Enjoy!

Great TOTW John! What's really funny is that without words, you've actually made it so I can understand a cobra weave, where dozens of videos with guys trying to explain it did nothing. Thanks for posting!

I've done some bracelets of other design and they were time consuming but easy. I've heard of the Cobra and everyone seemed to make it so hard, now that you showed it, it seems so simple and I'll make a few. Thanks John

A simple idea clearly explained that even a ham-fisted ape like me can do it! Hope my family are prepared for the plethora of Paracord Zipper Pulls that are about to descend on them!!

Grat video John! Fun little project to do to get some personalization to some of my gear and something nice I can make for friends as well. As usual, another great "tip of the week." Look forward to seeing your videos pop up on my home page. Will be trying this one soon! Psyched for another video!

I watched a few other videos that just confused me, this one was perfect. My softball bag zipper broke and I knew paracord would be able to fix it. Thanks!

I have used these pulls many times thanks to you. When I need to make a new set of pulls I rewatch the video; I guess my memory is not that great. Thanks Bud.

I had some Nite Ize Reflective cord sitting around, not being used.  It worked great for this project!  A bit more compact, and best of all, reflective.  I replaced most of my pulls in my backpacking kit - can't wait to try them out.  Thanks for all the inspiration, John!
