THE CLEAN CHANNEL ON THIS AMP IS PHENOMENAL, THANKS TO THE GAIN, 6 BAND EQ, AND PRESENCE AND DENSITY CONTROLS. ITS TONE CHARACTERISTICS ARE ALMOST ENDLESS

@Mike Pingel no problem at all, the loop can be used to deuce the volume after the volume knob, so you get the feel of a loud amp at bedroom levels, works great.. Cleans are good

These Randall amps are sick dude. I have 2 of them, bought my first one for $200, my second for $300. Both in mint, one has a footswitch and the other didn't come with one. Love the video man, it's cool to hear it in other ways with different cabs/speakers, pickups, tubes, etc. Keep that head brah, because there getting hard to find these days as well as the Ninja, Archetype, & T2.

Would you say this amp adds a lot of compression? To my ears everything is smoothed out and tight. A really unique sound!

Also keep in mind that what you hear here is a recorded tone, it always will differ a bit from the room tone you get from testing your amp out. Also: Amp volume!

Bought this Amp 3 years ago in used condition, because I loved the huge Sound that comes with precise Definition. Sadly my V2 has a Hum Problem that cames from the Solidstate. I usually play it through a self built 2x"15 Box with Hartke Alu speakers.

Awesome tone man, finally a good demo of what this amp is capable of!

I'm sorry, but I was just sound comparing between the V2 and the Diesel Herbert. They totally sound different. The Herbert sounds like it has a higher presence and sounds fuller, where as the V2 doesn't have as much, but has a decent mid-range tone. I can go on, but I'm confident that my point's been made. Good video.

AND THE EFFECTS LOOP HAS A VOLUME CONTROL FOR SEND AND ONE FOR THE RETURN, IT CAN BE USED AS A VOLUME ATTENUATOR

the difference in tubes is barely audible, the cab has a MUCH bigger ifluence (I have 6 v30 cabs, none of them sound similar to each other).
what cab are you using?

I built(used empty)and wired my own 4x12 cab. All 8ohm speakers to 8ohm cab to match V2 output.
Thank you for feedback.

I would also consider getting a power attenuator, like the THC hotplate, because some high gain amps sound better when they're louder. It has been my experience that a 6505 sounded shitty when at low volumes and only started sounding good after 3-4 on the post knob. This is without counting an awesome ENGL cab and a maxon od 808.

Well that's the sickest collection of riffs ever!

Spec, I agree. The room is obviously throwing me. The tone difference I get from my small office and the wide open concrete basement at band practice is really frustrating. What sounds great home, sounds shitty at practice. However, I just tested my tubes lastnight and noticed that whoever had this amp prior to me installed a 12AX7 tube in the what i think is the power slot(the slot behind). Changed it with a Mesa 12AT7 tube and found a decent medium ground.
Still nothing like this tone.

it's no song, just a couple of riffs I'm using for amp tests

@Hector Salgado on axis, almost dead center, maybe half an inch or so to the side

Dare I say that this is like Randall's version of the Mark Series by Boogie?

Do you record all these demo's by reamping or are you just an insanely consistant player? :P
