I used to shower with sweet Alhambra bracelets, specifically MOP & Carnelian that I never removed for years…so far no damage, perhaps stones are too small and compact to see visible flaws. Thank you so much for doing this video. I learned so much from you. I was thinking to add MOP earrings to my collection and wear them 24/7 but I think it is not a good idea to do so. Currently I’m wearing onyx earrings 24/7, I’m very lazy to put on and take off. So far so good after 3 months wearing, but definitely not a good idea to shower with it. Awesome video 👍💕

I have my mom's one motif vintage lapis yellow gold Alhambra necklace that dad gave her for Christmas in 1968. I very rarely wear it. I just had it cleaned and tightened by the jeweler. I've been the owner of it since mom's passing in 2013. It's my only VCA piece. It's not scratched or damaged in the least. Mom seldom wore it either. It spends its time in its box in my gun safe. I take it out and wear it around the house. VCA is so expensive, and I'll never have another piece, so I'm taking great care of this one. Plus it has sentimental value, since it was my mom's.
