0:43 was cut a bit too early, I believe it was, "luckily they didn't go through with his idea."

"it would probably get infected before the setup even finishes" has to be one of the scariest things I have ever heard..

Alternate title: What happens if you connect Windows Server 2003 to the Internet without any safety features in any year

You know, one of my friends exposed his NT4.0 Advanced Server box that runs Exchange and IIS sometime last year, and the worst that happened was the creation of a few empty folders for all this time. Doing the same on Windows 2000 ended badly, something you've already confirmed yourself. Maybe you should try out NT4 too.

Windows Activation doesn't work online because the servers have been upgraded to TLS 1.2 and recent certificates, preventing the old OS from connecting.

Your videos have been always interesting to watch.
I learnt more from your videos than in my school.
Also I've got a question what kind of tools do you use while making these videos? (Ofc except the virtual machine)

I'm doing a sysadmin degree and just found your channel through this video, definitely gonna stick around for your DDs on this kinda stuff. Legacy systems are a great way to study.

Underrated Channel. I love learning aboute these obsecure and outdated OS's. I remember growing up on XP, and am nostalgic for it at times, even though its no longer safe to use. Just a thought. Team up with Scammer Payback, and have a scammer connect to Red Star OS. I bet it would be quite entertaining.

How do attackers find such an unsecured windows server? Do they simply poke every possible ipv4 address and hope that eventually they find a server which let's them in?

Kinda fun how you only got Conhoz on XP, but WS2k3 gets the funky ones. Mirai? Oh shi-

How do you get the networking setup so it's not behind a NAT and exposed to the internet? Sorry for asking a question you've probably answered countless times.
