Rob's description of Ni No Kuni touched me on some sort of (non-pretentious) profound level, I swear. When he uttered the phrase 'burrowed through the layers of cynicism' I realised that I, too, longed to be that age again where I could appreciate a game's charm without being tainted by the real world's sceptical grasp of my very soul. Definitely one of your best segments, Rob.

I just finished Ni No Kuni based on Rob's recommendation, I've seen him mention it a few times now and honestly it was absolutely amazing! I really loved it and haven't been so engrossed and obsessed with a game in a long time. I made sure to explore everything and take my time to really get into the world, and it was worth every second. Nice one Rob :)

It warmed my heart when Rob said that he played the Breath of Fire series. That was the series that got me into RPGs and it holds a special place in my heart.

One game that took me back instantly was Doom, the 2016 one
When I was a small kid, my older sister got the original Doom from a friend and - as I was way too young to actually play it - I was of course not allowed to play it or even watch her. Obviously this didn't stop me from doing so
Over two decades later I got my hands on Doom 2016 and when I finally carved open one of those taurus demon things (also called Pinky) with a chainsaw... man just like older times

for me, it's uncharted games, the last of us and the witcher 3, I have so much fun and joy playing them, that it reminds me when I was very young and enjoyed playing for hours and everything was thrilling, I miss that feeling today, when is hard for me, to find a game that stirs my feelings and makes me so excited that I don't want it to end.
