I've said this before but although the game isn't just a bad clone of hollow Knight, I can see why people would think that. With the character wearing a cloak, the attack animations, the way the map looks in th last short, pogoing, the way the ground looks. It's ok to take inspiration and have some of those things but when you have all of them it just looks like hollow knight. Maybe you might get away with it if the game has enough of its own identity but from the shorts I've seen it's just stuff similar to hollow Knight that keep being added. The game looks really good tho

I've been looking at your game through shorts and other resources to build up an opinion on it, obviously seeing if it's an hk clone. I don't think it is, I think there are some details that could be tweaked or flat out removed because of their similarities but this game does have heart put into it. Of course one of my first thoughts when I looked at it, being a silksong fan that's been waiting 5 years, was "oh God it's lotus Knight all over again." But that's not what this is. Lotus Knight was made for a quick buck, or at the very least it just wanted some attention from the trailer. Nobody is immune to criticism, and neither are their creations, BUT it's not necessarily fair to take a look for a few seconds and form an opinion based on that. Your game looks great, I'll be sure to keep an eye on it for the future.

I see everyone talking about this game looking like Hollow Knight, but I just want to mention that the main reason I thought of it being Hollow knight was the sword swing, and it's ability to pogo off of map design and enemies alike. I greatly suggest changing that to some extent, change the animation and color of the swing maybe, and I think you will have a lot less HK vibes

I love this game!
I have already played through the Demo multiple times and even tried to speedrun it.
My personal best is barely under 5 minutes.

I’m just gonna say, seems real close to hollow knight in design. But that’s difficult to escape when making a game like this so I’m excited!

Tried the demo, looks good and plays great. Also a bonus that while you are obviously inspired by others (everything is inspired by everything that’s not a problem), your game still plays pretty uniquely and has a unique charm. Good job!

Just make it look different man, this looks good but it also looks just like hollow knight, i hate to tell you this but this game will either bomb or be laughed at by the internet for 3 days before forgetting about it entirely. Go and remake the assets before this good game fails
