Water pumps back then were numbered. You never throw away a matching number (date) part. Even brackets were numbered with dates. You rebuild the original. Back then you rebuilt everything.

I come from a family of undertakers and they would be super excited to see that thing come back to life. They exclusively drive Cadillacs. This would look good in any limo fleet all cleaned up.
