ok so, i know it's been a long axx while, , but this right here in the animation is the second ending

imma just long story short these lol and just say it cuz i aint gonna do em bcuz i changed franchises lol and, just gonna reveal it before i just forget about them lol

the first ending is the good ending, luigi is saved thanks to Daisy's sneak attack from behind and snatched the remote that's controlling luigi's electricution and stuff and free's luigi from it and mario doesnt die

the 3rd ending, another bad ending, luigi dies bcuz he gets electricuted by Bowser cuz he failed to kill Mario

This is without a doubt the most interesting thing I have ever seen. But I feel that in this AU Mario is being punished by separating him from his brother and how much he is suffering and doing whatever it takes to get him back. Princess Peach is not of help here as she is only trying to comfort Mario but that is of no use as he is mentally deteriorating. I love the drama it has but it is sad to see how the two brothers are suffering because of this. I'm not a Mario fan but from what I've come to observe, Luigi has never received the credit he deserves and most people never remember his name which makes him a shadow of his older brother. It makes me feel bad for him but that doesn't mean I'm blaming Mario for it. However, I like that this story only focuses on them and their brotherly love, which is the most beautiful thing in my opinion. And this AU awakens all those feelings.

PS: What sadness gave me the bad ending where Mario before dying was happy to see that his brother was still alive and that was the only thing that mattered to him.

Alt ending

Mario had a thick cut on his forehead and several bruises, he assumed the green stoche was also beat up but it was hard to tell with the hood covering him. They were at a standstill for the moment, both exhausted, neither being able to beat the other. “What’s wrong Mario giving up so soon?” A deep rough voice called out from the sky. Flames licked Mario’s hands as his head shot up to catch eyes with the Gumba King. Bowser sat in a clown air-vehicle, similar to the one that took Luigi away. Mario wasn’t sure who he hated more, Bowser for taking his baby brother away or himself for pushing his baby brother away. “Where. Is. He.” Mario’s question was short. He wasn’t ever good at speaking when Luigi wasn’t around, so he tried to keep it to 3 words or less. “Where is who?” Bowser asked, batting his eyes with fake innocence that made Mario grit his teeth. Out of the corner of his eye he saw the Green Stoche tense. Hmm maybe he knew something. Mario called a fire dome around the two of them. He let the flames run free on the outside, he didn’t really care if bowser got burned. “What do you know” he quickly asked facing the other man in the dome and trying to come off as threatening as possible. He must of looked pretty threatening because the green stoche took a step back and kept quiet. Normally Mario would of tried a calmer nicer approach but not now. Not when Luigi, his baby brother, need him. “Tell me!” He shouted quickly jumping in front of the man, grabbing him, and yanking him down to his own eye level. Doing so causes the good to fall and Mario to gasp. Standing in front of him was Luigi himself. “L-Luigi?” Mario’s voice was barley a whisper, his face and grip instantly becoming softer. He moved his hands to hold Luigi’s. He held them with a firm grasp. Not tight enough to hurt him of course, but tight enough that he wouldn’t loose him agin. Stars he couldn’t loose him agin. Luigi opened and closed his mouth a few times, trying to find the right words. Bowser’s grumpy voice sounded from the other side “Green stoche! Get out here!”. Luigi flinched, “Its okay” Mario said “you can stay here I’ll deal with him” like he** he was letting his baby brother walk back into Bowser’s grasps. But Luigi was already walking towards the edge of the fire dome. “No!” Mario shouted and quickly ran over to pull his brother back. Luigi flinched agin and Mario held him securely into his stomach. They stood like that for a few minutes.Why was Luigi flinching so much? Mario wondered. “I SAID COME OUT HERE!” Bowser shouted. Mario felt a sharp shock go through his body, Luigi crumbled. Although Mario was hurt, Luigi was hurting more (Of course, even if it was the other way around Luigi would always be his top priority). Mario hovered his hands around him, scared that touching him would bring him more pain. Luigi’s hands went to his neck, and that’s when Mario saw it. A collar. That was shocking him. Bowser had put a shock collar on his baby brother. Mario was pis***. Without thinking he grabbed the collar. It began to shock him 10x as hard as it had when it was just him holding Luigi. But he didn’t care. He barley even registered the pain. Call it a big brother Adrenalin rush but he tore the stupid contraption in two. The moment it stoped Luigi fell into his big brothers lap with a quite whimper. Mario was going to kill bowser. Mario softly ran his fingers through Luigi’s hair then he took Luigi’s hat off of his head and placed it on its rightful owner. “Just hang on, I’ll deal with him” Mario said the last word with a voice laced in venom, “you can rest” he left a quick kiss on Luigi forehead (brotherly love only/ don’t make it weird) and dispersed the flame dome. Bowser on the other side was angry, only growing angrier at the sight. Mario quickly put a smaller, yet stronger, dome around Luigi alone. “That brat I should have-“ bowser began but a sharp glare from Mario quickly had him shut his mouth. “Your dead”

M- this gives me epilogue vibes- like little headcanon here: after Mario’s death here he comes back as a ghost, but he doesn’t remember who he was or anything for that matter, he only somewhat recognises Luigi and his only memory is of the final goal he ever set himself.. *save him* but of course he doesn’t know who “him” is, so he floats around the castle aimlessly, talking to the now villain Luigi asking where “him” is and how he can save him, while Luigi can only feel grief and self loathing after realising that he’s killed his brother. Sure Mario didn’t realise / care enough to see that his brother was in his shadow, but the fact remains that Mario did care about him and Luigi still loves him, and the fact he risked and lost his life, countless hours of sleep, and had possible night terrors all for him and to make sure he got away from bowser safely. It will haunt Luigi forever seeing what was once the unstoppable plumber who took on the great koopa king and all the other baddies of the land, and was his own brother now just a shell of his former self, forever stuck with the task of saving him.
